Before moving into the film making business, Dave’s professional life began in the Engineering sector. Having graduated in mechanical engineering in 1988, he ran the research and development wing of an international materials handling company. From there, he moved onto his own engineering, consultancy business for a further few years.

Possessing a wealth of knowledge and experience in a range of engineering disciplines, there are few people in the world who have his level of competence in the field of Stunt rigging and Stunt engineering.
