As a performer, Dave has always displayed exceptional confidence in water. He is a PADI SCUBA Divemaster, an advanced Freediver (able to breath-hold for over four minutes) and maintains a high standard of swimming and high diving.
These qualities have been drawn on many times throughout Dave’s stunt career performing difficult and very physical drowning and underwater sequences as well as high dives, surface rescues, submerged car escapes and burning falls into rough seas.
In a coordinating and Directing roll, Dave has created numerous exciting surface and underwater sequences: escapes from sinking vehicles, boat crashes, shark attacks, drownings and rescues.
Dave has extensive experience training talent from basic swimming to advanced underwater work and breath holding techniques. |
